Meet the apostolates that bring our mission to life.
The Good News Conference doesn't just nourish our faith—it also helps advance the work of some extraordinary Catholic ministries that are bringing the Gospel around the world to those in need of it.
This year, 40% of all conference registration and sponsorship revenue has been allocated to support five remarkable nonprofit apostolates.
This revenue includes a donation to Feed My Poor, which will fund a new truck dedicated to distributing food to unhoused individuals across the Los Angeles area.
"Feed My Poor alleviates hunger among the unwanted and the unloved in the city of Angels," said Founder Fr. Ed Benioff. "We try to fulfill our Lord’s call in Matthew 25 to help the least among us."
Along with Feed My Poor, the organizations we support this year are on the front lines of Catholic evangelization; They are healing, proclaiming the truth of our faith, serving the poor, and echoing Christ's love to communities with limited access to the spiritual, educational, and material resources that many of us have been blessed with.
As a result, your participation at the Good News Conference extends far beyond the conference itself. While we are being formed and edified in our faith, together we fulfill a broader mission of transforming lives, strengthening the Church, and ultimately, bringing hope to our vulnerable brothers and sisters.

Word on Fire
Word on Fire is a nonprofit global media apostolate that supports the work of Bishop Robert Barron and reaches millions of people to draw them into—or back to—the Catholic faith through documentaries, homilies, books, and a strong presence on social media and YouTube. Their content ranges from deep theological and historical work to short daily reflections on culture and current events, meeting people wherever they already spend their time online.
BulldogCatholic
BulldogCatholic serves college students at the University of Minnesota’s Duluth Campus, walking alongside them through the sacraments, Bible studies, and community during some of the most formative years of their lives. Their student leaders and staff create a real place to belong on campus, offering friendship and mentorship that helps students build a faith that can hold up outside the classroom.
Freely Given
Freely Given brings medical care and the love of Christ to communities in Cambodia that otherwise have little access to it. Their volunteers, many of them medical professionals, offer free checkups, basic treatment, and simple, compassionate presence to families who are often overlooked. It's hands-on ministry in the truest sense — meeting people where they are and treating them with the dignity every person deserves.
The JPII Healing Center
JPII Healing Ministry supports people carrying emotional wounds, trauma, and brokenness, offering a path toward healing through prayer, the sacraments, and inner healing work grounded in Catholic teaching. They serve individuals seeking freedom from past hurts, as well as those simply wanting to grow closer to God, through retreats, small groups, and one-on-one prayer ministry.
Feed My Poor
Feed My Poor serves meals to individuals and families facing hunger and homelessness across Los Angeles. Their volunteers prepare meals and bring them directly out to the streets and neighborhoods where people need them most, serving with kindness and without judgment. For many of the people they serve, it's not just a meal — it's a reminder that someone cares.
